• Any information, test results, reports generated by LAS for you, consultations and/or communications with you by LAS is personal and held within the strictest of confidence, encrypted and stored on a local and private server (not on the Cloud) to ensure your privacy and protection.

• NEVER will your information, test results, reports be sold or given to third parties (such insurance companies, data mining firms, pharmaceutical companies, etc.).

• Datamining is the process by which companies use large sets of data to find patterns and other valuable information about you, which then can be used to develop advertising and marketing strategies.

• LAS never data mines your information, test results or reports other than for research purposes such as generating Polygenic Risk Scores-an important predictive factor that will help advance Genomic Medicine. Permission will always be requested and required if any of your information is used for research purposes.

• LAS complies with all HIPPA regulations.

• LAS is not owned by any commercial corporate entity.

• LAS is independent and does not accept third party advertising on its website.

• If LAS is ever sold, the aforementioned provisions protecting your data, privacy and dissemination of that information will be grandfathered and a condition of the sale.
